Shashi is a 20-year Google veteran and currently serves as the VP/GM for Search Ads and Ads on Google Experiences (SAGE). Throughout his tenure, he has held pivotal leadership positions, including VP/GM for Consumer Shopping, VP of Engineering for Google Health, and VP of Engineering for the core Google Search product. Notably, he led the launch of the Knowledge Graph and Discover, which now reaches over a billion users. Prior to Google, Shashi was a Distinguished Engineer at Synopsys, working on Automation for design of large scale Integrated Circuits (ICs). He holds numerous patents, has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, and is a frequent speaker for Google.
